Woman found buried in a CANOE in Argentina dating back 800 years

Researchers from Universidad Católica de Temuco say the woman was buried approximately 800 years ago and believe that boat may have helped her on her journey to the afterlife.

The published paper is interesting. It is open access for anyone to read on the site. The pictures, illustrations, and maps are higher resolution than the ones in the OP news story. The Neuquén lakes and Chile lakes regions of the Mapuche before the Spanish arrived.
