Accordion Teacher Wanted

Hi Everyone,

I lugged my new accordion down here and am looking to take lessons. Does anyone know an accordion teacher? Preferably one that will come to my house in San Telmo... Its a heavy instrument.

A great place to start looking for a teacher might be the "Museo Anconetani del Acordion", Guevara 492 in barrio Chacarita. tel: 4553-9440. But you'll need to know some Spanish to talk with them or have someone with you who does. This family was for generations Argentina's main craftsmen of accordions in Argentina. Nowadays the survivors only repair accordions in their shop next to the museum.

I don't speak Spanish, have no interest in accordions but still found the history, the craftsmanship and the instruments and how they're made fascinating.
