ACIJ (an Argentine NGO) seeks highly proficient English speaker, native or non-native, to be the coordinator of Program Development. The position includes leading all fundraising initiatives, designing projects for the NGO’s programmatic areas, and managing internship and fellowship programs. Job requires extensive research, writing and correspondence in both English and Spanish. Focus areas include strengthening of democratic institutions and mitigating socioeconomic inequality in Argentina.

Key responsibilities include:
- Investigate and follow up on funding opportunities for the organization. Monitor trends in international cooperation, research leads and new funding opportunities and possible donors.
- Project development for each of ACIJ´s main lines of work: Equality and Rights (urban poverty and slums, educational equality, budget analysis and human rights) and Institutions and Democracy (transparency and anticorruption, oversight agencies and accountability, judiciary. Planning and proposal design: drafting (English and Spanish) of objectives, activities, results, logical framework, budgets, etc.
- Communication with funders, allies and other actors.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): both written and spoken. Native English preferred.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Creativity and flexibility.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Interpersonal skills, ability to work well with a team and multitask.
- Previous professional experience in human rights and/or public policy for development a plus.
