I'm interested in adult ballet classes, not private sessions. Does anyone know of a class, group or studio? Merci!

What level are you looking for? Have you danced before or are you looking for a beginner class? And any particular neighborhood?

Hi, I was a professional dancer a few years ago and would like to get back into classes for fun. Would like some information as well, thank you so much!!

I did a search for danza clasica buenos aires and found the studio I visited years ago where my gynecologist Dra. Liliana Rossi took class. http://www.coelholguin.com/ There is one studio in the city and one in Belgrano. The schedule indicates P beginning, I intermediate, A-advanced.

I do the ballet barre in my apartment to stay in shape for tango.

I've taken ballet classes, but still considered a beginner.
I'm looking to rent an apartment in Recoleta, so close to and/or in Recoleta would be preferable.
But what is most important, is to have a teacher and classmates who appreciate the art, the discipline and the fun of classical ballet.

Hi, I take ballet classes at the studio of Mariela Estrabaca in Palermo. The phone nbr is 57780343. Address is Charcas 3673, 2nd floor. They have classes for adult beginners and intermediate levels. I took ballet classes as a child and have returned after many years so hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Good luck.

Hello! I'm sorry I totally forgot to write back. I would recommend the following:

1. SP DANCE CENTRE in Palermo. The only problem is right now they only have one clasico (ballet) class for adults. Hopefully you are available Tuesdays at 16.30. :)

2. Porton De Sanchez has a variety of classes. There website isn't too informative though. You may have to call for more info.

3. Domus Dance in San Telmo has some excellent classes. I've taken both jazz and classical there. I see a few beginner adult classes at night.

4. Fundacion Julio Bocca in the Borges Cultral Centre has a lot of options for a beginner adult.

If you don't like the looks of these four send me a private message and I will recommend a few more places.
