Anyone done this? I have a big roof and only want two chickens. What sort of coop should I get, guess mercadolibre should have everything I need....tia.

All you need is a nesting box for them to lay eggs in, and a piece of wood (broom stick / branch from tree) for them to roost on.. And as long as it is sheltered thats all that is needed.. As for the yard, an area a couple of meters square is ok with chicken wire around it.. and then let them out to run around and eat grass every day if you have a fenced in yard..

They like to lay their eggs/roost a good 1/2 meter off the ground. At night make sure they are in their enclosure. A bundle of hey should last you quite a while. Regular hen feed is great..but add some calcium to the mix..can be made of their left over eggs broken up.. makes for stronger shells.
They are not the smartest birds.. hope they don't get it into their little brains that they can fly.. :/

Hay or Rice Straw are something you definitely need in the nesting box...
remember to clean/burn them every 2 months :)
good luck...

to keep them from of flying,,, which they can , for a short distance, maybe down the roof, you need to keep them inbalanced in the weight of 2 wings.
trim/cut the feathers on one side of the wing shorter....
