Good article detailing the massive subsidies the government is throwing at the state owned Airline. Another example of mismanagement? I have to say the airline has improved in some ways since I started flying them 4 years ago. The new short haul fleet makes sense however the delays and system crashes are still a massive problem. Richard Branson once said "If you want to be a Millionaire, start with a billion dollars and launch a new airline". I have my doubts all this cash is getting utilized properly and not "vanishing" into someones pocket...

That's spelled "AeroCámpora," and as a protected state enterprise they're responsible for the fact that LAN cannot import additional planes to provide superior service to more destinations at lower cost.

Miserable airline. Completely unreliable. I used their "VIP" lounge at Ezeiza last month. Internet didn't work. Poor air conditioning. Mediocre catering service. One of the worst airport clubs I've ever seen. Says a lot about the company.
