Anyone have an opinion on the current Aerolineas Argentinas hot sale with 40 % discounts? I think it started yesterday and ends tomorrow. I'm looking at a round trip flight to Madrid for around $450. Book a flight from GRU, GIG or SCL and a separate flight from Argentina to there.
Business class tickets from those countries are literally a fraction of those originating in Argentina.

In my experience the savings are borne through diligent research and timing. Timing wherein airfares of the best value are found at 4-6 weeks out from travel. As for research, I begin all my travel plans at the destination where I look to see who flies there and then take my research to each airline's website.

Is there a big difference in seats between economy and premium economy on Aero or Iberia? Btween premium economy and business? Asking for someone who doesn't like to spend money but has a bad back.

Big difference between business and anything else still.
But there is no way I’d pay full business fare prices.
Rather suffer in the back and upgrade occasionally.
