After 50 days Precaria Still Stuck? – Supervisor Not Signing??

I'm curious @David_HaSofer, when did you have your cita and on which ground did you apply for PR?

My cita was March 21st, 2025 and I'm waiting to have my PR granted. My Brazilian husband who had his cita the same day as me got his PR on April 7th. He applied under the law for Brazilian and me as relative of a permanent resident. Thanks for sharing your timeline :)

This is true. My PR was granted March 17th and still no DNI. As to where to write to Migraciones, log in to the 'busqueda de tu tramite' page and at the bottom is the 'canal unico de contacto' button. Follow that link, fill out the form with the pertinent information, and they will get back to you. In my experience they gat back to you same day usually. The responses however are boilerplate, template-type, and not at all helpful, but maybe it reminds them that you are still alive? I did it every so often. Can't hurt.
Thanks! I'm applying for a permanent residence. Brazilians can do that without going through the temporary residence first, and I thought this would be more straightfoward...

The thing is, I'm here for just a year. I'm in an academic internship in a research facility in argentina, but because the brazilian government is paying me to be here, and I'm not being paid by an argentinian institution, the government here refuses to upload my data do RENAPER (i'd have a free temporary visa as an academic from Mercosur if they did that). So my option was a permanent residence (that I'll not use, as I'm here for just a year), and I now realize there's a chance I'll leave the country without even receiving my DNI... That's insane.

I'll send them an email anyway... Thanks again!

I don't know how much my timeline will help as the Christmas holidays likely delayed things. I had my cita December 10th 2024. Residency granted March 17th. Information sent to RENAPER to facilitate the issuing of a DNI also on the 17th (side note, go through the same 'canal unico' link to get your RENAPER tramite number as it is not provided to you otherwise). My tramite for the DNI just yesterday moved to the 'Verification' step which based on other people's experiences means I am probably ~6 weeks out from receiving it. The basis for my PR was through a family link (baby) born in Argentina. When I was on my TR prior to this, it took so long to issue the residency that RENAPER just decided not to issue me a DNI until it was renewed. They really should just slap your picture on the letter granting you residency so that it can be used as a stand in while the DNI is getting processed. It would save a lot of hassle.
