Closure of Visa Office in Australian Embassy Buenos Aires

Effective 25 March 2019 there will no longer be a Visa Office presence at the Australian Embassy in Buenos Aires.
You can continue to apply for a range of temporary visas, permanent visas and Australian Citizenship online through your ImmiAccount.
ImmiAccount allows you to scan and attach supporting documents to your online application. You can create an ImmiAccount at www.homeaffairs.gov.au/immiaccount

This is the strongly preferred and most efficient way to have your application managed and considered promptly.
Comprehensive information regarding visa options are available on the website www.homeaffairs.gov.au Please closely consider the information provided regarding your visa product on the website prior to application lodgement.

Please note that most applications must be lodged online and cannot be accepted by mail. The only applications that cannot currently be lodged online through ImmiAccount are the child visa (subclass 101, 102 and 103), New Zealand Family relationship (subclass 461) and Tourist visas (subclass 600) for those applicants holding refugee travel documents. In order to lodge these applications please send them to:

Australian Embassy
SES QD 801 CONJ. K LOTE 07
Avenida das Nações

70200-010
BRAZIL

You should not book flights or make travel commitments until you have a visa to travel to Australia. The department will not be liable for any financial loss incurred by clients whose visa application was finalised later than expected or was unsuccessful.
