I just wanted to share this article on Argentina's adoption of US agricultural techniques and use of agrochemicals. There's some provocative pictures of diseases and mutations caused by exposure to "Agent Orange" and RoundUp-type chemicals being used to grow genetically-modified corn, wheat, soy, and cotton.
With Argentina's economy relying so heavily on agricultural exports, I think more attention should be given to what agrochemicals are doing to some of the poorest-of-the-poor in the Northern provinces.
