I may work anywhere online as long as there's internet so I don't really need to be in BsArs. Though for the travels I need to be nearby Ezeiza. And 'cause I love culture-activities in general I prefer cities. BsArs is too huge, bad organised, filthy and overcrowded for me. And moving to a hood like Nuñez or Coglhan is too boring for me.
So which other cities are around? How about La Plata, anybody knows that? How about the costs of living there, security, life in general?

La plata is super boring, unsafe and vulnerable to floodings.
It is not cheap either because it is full of students from the country side and it makes rentals to be out of price.

La plata is boring and further from cultural activities than Nuñez and Coghlan! I love life in Nuñez, super chill like Zona Norte but still in the city with easy access to everything. Coghlan is full of beautiful houses and on a very convenient train line. If you're a temporary renter, why not give either of these a try for 1-3 months???

it´s cheaper. gyms are cheaper tango classes etc. rentals are cheaper also. about safety there, is pretty much like in buenos aires or a little better. floods are not usual. it has a lot of green space. but there aren´t as many options as in buenos aires. is a smaller city and you can tell that. and yes it can be boring depends on what you look for.

And the streets are just numbers.
What imaginative soul came up with that?

Rosario has more cultural life, but to live in a safe area could be expensive.

400 dead people is too much.

thanks for all replies so far!
Santiago neither Rosario (or Cordoba or Colonia, as I noticed a place which attracts many retired expats) are options for me: I've nearby Ezeiza and don't want every time the hassle Aeroparque-Ezeiza.

La Plata has indeed it's minuses as you mentioned Bajo Cero, probably the unsafety is the biggest concern. Though I don't panic.

The price-level is on the whole lower than BsArs, but not extremely cheap as places like Salta.
Does anybody lives there?
