The route just started earlier this year.

"As of May 6, 2020, American will cut their Miami to Cordoba route, meaning that it will have survived for less than a year."

American Airlines Cuts Cordoba, Argentina Route

American Airlines began flying between Miami and Cordoba, Argentina this year, but already plans on canceling the route, less than a year later.

In their third quarter earnings releases and comments, US airlines that fly to/from Argentina said performance on the route was dismal. I imagine outbound ticket purchases have plummeted.

A few months back, United cut its EWR/EZE route, which caused prices for direct EZE/JFK to jump about 30% overnight.
 
i didn't even realize AA had a miami to cordoba route
