Public train service civil servants can retire at the age of 55, but this doesnt seem to make them happy as well. They keep on going on strike several times a year and dont understand why those days arent being paid since "they work for the happiness of all".

The Most and All Time Prosperous of All will let you go even 70 hrs overtime in 1 week (basically it does not give a shit unless you're skipping taxes) with 1 week personal vacation (or if there any at all) and 4 major Holidays. Plus Standard For All Of Us - The Greatest Ever retirement in 67 (and counting). This is what makes us all Happy yappies and "united we stand" around our truly cnnable tv sets and foozball fields. (!!!)

And the french debt is still classified AAA by international rankings.

There is something wrong with the international financial system, how can a socialist country with such lazy people giving away their cash to foreigners get the best rating :eek:

Their banks didnt go bankrupt in 2008, their car industry gained markets, their housing market didnt collapse...I just don t understand!:confused:
 
It is just plain horror and chaotic outrage in ur country!! But hey, Bush'mans were in attempt to bring your nation down once with heroic push of re-naming "French fries". I know it did not go well... but Americans were intellectually occupied for a few days on that one!

Believe it or not they still have PUBLIC channels there, who arent sponsored by the food industry! And they talk about such boring things like renewable energies, terroir, history, philosophy. They even have political broadcasts that dont aim to tell you who s got the biggest, but do speak about global stakes and teach how to make yourself an opinion, being sceptical...

French fries are not more french than the french dressing in the US. When i was a kid it used to be a daily meal and kids would only want to eat that, but with the development of obesity, it s being replaced more and more by salad or vegetables in school restaurants.
