I grew up in Tartagal when my father was head of a Standard of New Jersey oil camp in the 1940s. I lived there for 6 years and consider that my basic culture. I’m planning to return for the fist time in the fall of 2008 and am wondering if there is any English speaking ex-pat in the Tartagal or Salta area who would be willing to communicate with me. I am not sure the oil camp is still there or where it was exactly and would truly love to see it again. I would also like to ask some other questions relating to the area and earlier times. Would it be possible for you to post my request to your members? I would surely appreciate it and any information I can get before I come.
