Any small-ish social outings for those 35-45 ish?

Hi all, are there any small-ish social outings (potlucks, etc) that you know of for ppl aged 35-45? Not looking for classes or cultural events (though discussions on global macro are fine); just potlucks, picnics and other social events. Thanks!
 
Isn't there some sort of weekly coffee chat organized in this forum? Never been but seems to fit the bill.
