Hello All! I recently moved here (a month and a half ago!), and I'm a pretty huge nerd. I was hoping to continue my tabletop role playing hobby while here. Is there anybody in the expat community that's running a gaming group? Or would be interested in forming one with me? I'm down to play any game, not just D&D. :)

Thank you!

I'm a long time gamer since the early/mid 90s but tend towards FPS and action third person games like Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3 etc.
I imagine D&D is multiplayer isn't it?
I also write about gaming and review games by the way.

my kids used to be into it, and I would tell you what I told them, about virtually any subject- GTS (google that shit)

it would be a great language lesson, to play with argentines, unless you are already fluent, in which case it would be even more fun.

Yes, I do mean the paper/dice roll game. D&D is multiplayer, but you all sit around a table and play your character in person, while you roll some dice to see if you're successful at doing stuff. Sounds super nerdy (cuz it is), but it's a LOT of fun.

Thanks. I have no idea how to find a local group though. I thought I'd try here first...I also don't speak Spanish very well, which would make playing with locals a bit difficult.

It actually pre-dates most computers and video games. It is a tabletop pen&paper game. The video below was done as humor, but it is actually a pretty accurate representation of an actual gaming session.
