Anyone Need Traveler's Checks?

An acquaintance of mine emailed me and said they have $700 US in American Express Traveler's Checks. They asked me if they were useful to me, or if they can change them. I don't know if there in someone's name or if they can be transferred since I've never used one before. If anyone is interested PM me.

You can not transfer/on sell travellers cheque due to the fact that you need to sign them when purchased.
Your acquaintance can cash them himself.
Sounds like a scam to me, or maybe they are stolen.
