Anyone W/ Experience In Order Custom Made Shinken In Jp

There is something I do not undestand, why some nihontos cost the same than a brand new shinken? (12.000 usd)

Bajo Its not the same, but there is a guy in Louisville Ky named Gill Hibben, good guy makes swords and knifes. He could make you just about anything. and people collect his stuff hes made tons of swords, knives for movies even the famed Arnold Schwarzenegger sword in Conan. I know its no where near the same type of weapon but he makes some cool weapons.
