Argentina’s Congress fails to overturn Milei’s university funding veto

One can't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.

Milei - there are no more fiscal deficits. All budgets must be cut to bring them in line with fiscal constraints.

Univeristy - Hey we're losing to inflation, can you please increase our budget?

Milei - What previously paid your budget? A fiscal deficit? Well that's not allowed anymore, so how are you going to fund this increase? You don't know? Well then it's disapproved.

It's almost like a monty python skit...

Airplane pilot: We want to take off.

FAA: Flight clearance has been limited to 100 feet altitude.

Airplane pilot: That's not enough air to fly.

FAA: Then find some more air.
