Argentina Debt "mediation" Goes Surreal

The meeting was cancelled as Argentines couldn't get there on time. Haha that's actually funny when you think about how everyone is so late here all the time. But it's not. :(

While living here I've numerously asked "Argentine time or American time/Argentine XX:XX AM/PM or American XX:XX AM/PM?"

This saga makes me think of a very popular French movie, "La vérité si je mens 2". (really recommended for good fun, start with the 1st episode, this is the 2nd)
Unfortunately didn't find a YouTube subtitled version, so here goes my own (Serge, the guy in a grey suit, is famous for never repaying its debts. His creditors come to him).

It's until 1:20

White suit: What is it ?
Boum !

Black suits: Benhamou ! Benhamou ! Serge, Where are you Serge ? Huh ? Benhamou ?

Black suits: You are here my Sergio ! You’re gonna give back our money or I cut your finger. I start counting until 5…. 1, 2, 3, 4

Grey suit (Serge): Cut it ! Cut it ! Go ahead, cut it ! I’ll never repay you! You can take away my eyes or burn my d*ck, it will be strictly useless, you won’t get a dime! Come on Willy, you know I’ve never refunded anyone ! Huh. Your cash, I spent it a long time ago. Ah ah! No kidding, I knew you sucked but here, you are really a champion, ah ah ! Giving blank checks to me, ah ah, you really are an intellectual dwarf.

Black suit to the other black suit: Boum! This is for working with crooks.

The article is also wrong in stating that the hearing was at 10 am - Pollack had scheduled it to 11 am.

If you google the quote, which is aleged to be from Bloomberg, only zerohedge and quotes from zerohedge show up. Bloomberg must have forgotten to publish it on the internet.

Here is the real story from Bloomberg:

"Mediated talks between Argentina and holdout creditors were delayed until tomorrow after the government delegation traveling from Buenos Aires said it wouldn’t arrive on time." http://www.bloomberg...iving-late.html

There is not negociation:
