Very informative chart there, though the 2026 forecast numbers are comically low. At a best case (LLA wins) scenario of 30% inflation per year the dollar would at least be 400 higher on Q4 2026 than the Q4 2025 numbers.

Realizing in their write up they mention the opinions and the accompanying chart are partially based on their “trip” to Argentina earlier in the year. Sounds like Wells Fargo does not have a significant, or any, office in Buenos Aires even though they do in Chile and Brazil. So maybe not as much local knowledge as other international financial institutions who have more presence here.

If JP Morgan Bank got spooked by a temporary agricultural tax expiring then I strongly doubt Wells Fargo has a single toe in any Argentine Investment right now.

Only Franklin Templeton is dumb enough to bet the farm on Argentina exposed investments.

This place is fucked!
This is democracy at it's finest my friend. Direct democracy (presidential elections) and indirect (congressional representative elections). That there are winners and losers in each constituent base is to be expected.

I wouldn't say the country is more fucked than any other honestly....
