Hey, Assassination Tango wasn't a bad movie. I thought the music was pretty good. Now, if you want to see a bad movie then watch anything with Jennifer Aniston. She stinks.

I agree the music of Assination Tango was excellent and some scenes were good but overall it was completely unbelievable .

Jennifer Aniston of greek background must be the worst actress of the world . I switch off everytime I see her. Unfortunately the actors of today have nothing on the stars of old like Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Anthony Quinn and others ,

IMHO the best movie made in Buenos Aires is "La Historia Oficial" with the incredible performance of Norma Aleandro.

More movies:

- 9 Reinas. (Darín/Pauls)
- La tregua. (Alterio/Luisina Brando)
- Luna de Avellaneda. (Darin/Moran)
- Un Lugar en el mundo (Federico Luppi, Jose Sacristan)
- Cenizas del Paraiso (Hector Alterio/Leo Sbaraglia)

Fabian Bielinsky's NINE QUEENS is indeed a very good film, but his second (and last) film, EL AURA, is his masterpiece, virtuoso film making at its best. And then there's Lucrecia Martel's mad hothouse of a movie, LA CIENAGA, like Tennessee Williams on steroids.

For non-tango dancers especially who'd like to know what Argentine Tango is about, I recommend "El Ultimo Bandoneon" (2005).

I found a shop at Tucuman St 1900 that sells antique local films ,corner at Rio Bamba I think.
