Nope, it seems that he committed suicide, only that nobody knows who has done it!!!

This link says that he was shot in the face. (Though "UPI" isn't what it used to be.) Shooting yourself in the face isn't exactly that common for suicides.

But the link from their International page says "Found Shot Dead" while something else I read said that he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Also, he's either 61 or 62. For some reason, everyone can't even agree on his age.

EDIT...

This article says (among other things):

1) That he "died Sunday of gunshots to the head."

2) He was born in 1949, which would make him 62 years old, unless he was born on January 1st. But definitely not 61.

EDIT: NEWS FLASH! Carlos Johnston (another southern official from Rio Negro) has been reported missing since 7am Sunday morning. There where reports of UFOs flying near the area where he disappeared! Not.

I read in today's La Nación that he has already been laid to rest in a cemetery. Do funerals generally happen this quickly in Argentina? The guy wasn't even deceased for 24 hours... ? Very strange.

There is no way in Hades that he committed suicide as there were two shots . There is something fishy with this case as it seems obvious that his wife did it Susana Freydoz.

Why the hasty burial as well ?
