It seems to be all the rage at restaurants these days and for as much as I'd love to dismiss it is a pure marketing gimmick, it's been some of the most amazing steak i've ever eaten. Now the only question is: any idea where I can buy it?

Man, I read this headline and was disappointed thinking there was some new hotshot basquetból star in Argentina. Bummer. Steak sounds good, though.

La Cabrera often shows up in tourist written reviews and blogs as selling Kobe beef.

I'm not sure if it's the bone fida black Tajima-ushi breed of Wagyū cattle which is fed beer and massaged prior to becoming meat that is genuine Kobe or if it's 'in the style of' Kobe which is much more common outside of Japan.

Quite funny that whilst in this giant land with plenty of fine beef as standard you want the rare meat from a prefecture of an island which is vastly overpopulated.

Yes, Cabrera carries it at around 350 pesos or so, and most of the luxury hotel restaurants do as well.
