The South American country saw public transport, the important grains crushing sector, supermarkets, airports and banks grind to a halt for 24 hours as most of the major unions joined the protest action against the government.

Where do these guys get their journalists… Jumbo, open. Dia, open. Carrefour, open. Coto, open. Chino, open. Yet according to Reuters, everything supermarkets included came “grinding to a halt”. Also saw bank staff coming in and out of their branch (even though closed for public attention). They also conveniently forget to mention that 40% of buses are running and plenty of people all over the city have made it to work (although obviously less than in a normal day).

Guess click bait headlines about dire the situation in Argentine is need to throw in some added drama and ignore the more mundane facts that otherwise dampen the news they are selling.
