The president’s self-titled “shock therapy” of economic policies are making the country’s currency so expensive it’s doubled dinner tabs at restaurants that boomed not so long ago when bargain prices defined nightlife in Buenos Aires... It’s one of the most tangible changes to life in Argentina, a country famous for packed steakhouses by day, buzzing bistros by night and dance clubs that don’t open until 2 a.m.
 
What's the average tab at Don Julio or La Cabrera..?
That is not the point of this news, unlike the past story of high costs at expensive restaurants. Now the common restaurants are losing customers while their operation costs have doubled or tripled.
