New awesome, cheap bar in Palermo. The shanghai dragon is a great dive barish place to have beers and great asianish, cheap cuisine. Stop by for happy hour everyday between 5pm to 10pm ( you can stay late if you want it only gets better) great fast bilingual service araoz 1199 see you there.

Sister pub to the Bangalore and Gibraltar, same kind of vibe, different cuisine. Recommended, as are the other two pubs. About a year old now I think (veteren status for Palermo).

Yep, this "new" bar suffers from being right on the corner where Niceto Vega SHOULD cut through the southeast side of Scalabrini Ortiz, but doesn't. So you have to loop around to find it in the middle of the back side of a sleepy Araoz block. But the place is cool.

I would say that it has a CLEANER feel than Bangalore & Gibraltar. Maybe because it is newer, but it just doesn't feel as worn in... worn out.

It is probably 186% times cleaner than the Bangalore or Gibraltar. Also, much quieter often bc it is still off the beaten path slightly and a bit more of a neighbourhood haunt for now. Which is nice but probably not the place you'll meet people the way you do at the other two...
