in NYC we had / there is..."Citibike" (equivalent in concept to CABA ECObici.)
Citibike has evolved into a significant way of getting around in NYC (having 1,915 stations, and a daily average ridership of 131,000)

Are there any thoughts about using ECObici in CABA - to me it seems like they are there, but not(?)
- yes, i do realize that scale makes a difference... NTL
Should I premsume it to be a reliable transit (ex: to get for home to the workspace on ha daily basis.)

thoughts ?

It works but the bicycles aren’t in the best shape and I got blocked from it because the system said I didn’t return a bike to a station when actually did.

Also you’ll need DNI or you have to pay tourist rates which are quite expensive.

I’d think about buying a bike?

Wot @Ronnie Hotdogs sed. I suspect that it depends on local circumstances because although I often see empty or nearly empty bike stations around the city, a relative relies on them for the middle section of their daily commute and always finds some available.
