BA inflation

UK Man - I think the mentality of those who provide and charge for a service/product in this country has to change before much else else changes.
AGREE.....but that mentality has existed as far back as the 1930's when the dollar-peso value was a major controlling factor in the economy as it is today. The word "cortoplacismo" is second in ranking to the word "dolar" in the minds of many locals.

....Of course it doesn't help when taxes/utilities keep going up....The increases are due to the fact that during the populist years of the K's these prices were kept arbitrarily low. This while the presidential couple and their henchmen were allowed to steal, bribe, etc. for 12 years.

....and you have the likes of Banco Provincia staff closing the bank so they can have an extended holiday weekend. And, if I may add, the CGT confirmed this morning a general strike for Thursday, February 22.

.

Well indeed.....and unless people like that are brought to justice and seen to be punished the mentality that exists here won't change.

John Doe - seriously, what positive aspects of living in BA keeps you here?
