I've used the payout in US$, using Xoom, at BBVA Banco Frances : you need a DNI (it doesn't work for passport holders : they have to cash the money in pesos at Latin Express).

thx 4 that information. Payout through LatinExpress is very expensive because they rate the ARS/US$ only with 3,648 !!!

Depending on the amount should I go to a bigger branch like "central" in Reconquista or should each branch have enough US$ in stock ?

As I have a DNI (Extranjero) it should work for me I will try it (for security with my C.U.I.T. from AFIP too).

ok. if you will use your own Debitcard from an European bank acount XOOM will cancel your transaction. They are meaning "Intra transfer within Argentina is not allowed." even it isn't a "Intra transfer" and of my last declaration of that I don't get any answer.

we intend to develop a antique furninshings export business. what difficulties will i have in moving funds into argentina? or should i just use the transfer from domestic (usa) accounts? or someone recommended charles schwab. and what other banking/taxation issues will i face?
