Found something at the Feria de Mataderos I could really use back home in Mexico. Cast iron cauldron, 50 cm diameter would be my guess. Around 20 kg. I am packed up to the gills for my flight back in July, and this is not an item I can drop on some unsuspecting mule. I guess I already know the answer to my question, but I'll give it a shot anyway: are there any sensible shipping options you can recommend other than DHL, UPS, etc? I've had ok experiences with Correo in the past, but this is pushing it ;)

I agree with SlowWalker. When I moved here in 2011, I brought everything I owned in 5 large, carefully weighed boxes. The airline overcharge was about equal to the cost of my ticket, but it was worth it to me. Pad it well, put your contact info inside, tape the dickens out of it, and all should be well without major expense.

Looks like domestic only.
In 2008 I made the big move from NYC to BA. I used Andreani to ship a lot of my personal stuff in two large “commercial bin” boxes. Andreani took care of everything, they picked up the boxes from my storage unit and delivered them to my BA address.
They’re definitely an international company.
