Best, safest way to get new US credit card down here?

I have AmeriPrise, Schwab, CitiBank, Bank of America and Chase and none of them will ship a card outside of the USA. You're lucky your bank will do it.
I always receive cards from Chase in Argentina because they know that my residence is here.

If your account is with an Argentina Chase bank it makes sense you can get a card sent to your home in Argentina, but ours is with a Chase in the USA. I've heard that the same bank name in different countries isn't really the "same" bank, for international money laundering laws they are separately owned and run businesses.

My account has been in New York since Chase acquired Chemical Bank in the 90s and originally opened with Chemical in 1979. I never dealt with Chase in Argentina. They just know that I am living abroad now.

Interesting. Our Chase account is in California and last time we asked they wouldn't send the card internationally. Maybe it varies by state or they made a policy change. Thanks for the tip!
