Best sites for cheap flights...what do you use??

I've been searching this forum for last 20 minutes for a thread or two that suggested good price comparison sites for cheap flights...they've always got good deals to London via the States and I can't for the life of me find it or the thread that recommended it.

I've tried that despegar (or however it's spelt)....any others you use.

seems like returns to london in july are all in the 1500-1700 USD range.

I use www.airninja and www.whichbudget. skyscanner may be a 3rd

I only fly American and its partners,because of frequent flier mileage, but I use these 2 sites for flights for domestic flights within a country or where a budget airline is more suited to my budget.
