Best Way To Bring Drugs Into The Country?

FYI: oxycontin is available here, but requires a triplicate prescription. Also only certain pharmacies are licensed to sell it.
May I add that doctors really hate to write that script because they are tracked and harassed.

If one goes to a specialist in the treatment of pain they are less harassed (the doctors, that is!) they are also familiar with the special protocols required for these prescriptions. Best of luck to the OP!

Thanks for the replies. I had obra social but not anymore, so I'm not very sure how to go about getting a prescription.

I wouldnt bring any drugs in, get a prescription, get them local. Im having problems getting batteries for my hearing aids! LOL

Any idea how to get a prescription for fluoxetine without obra social?

Man I wish I could help you, seriously, but I don't have a clue. Im a newbie here trying to figure out things, which is why I came to this forum.

So far I have found VERY few people who actually help you out with something thats important like this. I have been studying the past threads, etc, not much help which is why I posted a few threads on some of the issues I had with the post office, and the first thing they did was condemn me for trying to get my stuff back in a professional manner. Like I did something wrong. Its crazy.

I was just saying the way they act in customs etc, they might create a nightmare for you, it seems everything is selectively enforced, if your one of them, you can do as you like.

You can go to any psychiatrist without health insurance and pay them privately and ask them for a prescription and you can simply use that to buy fluoxetine. You won't get the health insurance discount. Are they still prescribing fluoxetine? I thought there were new medications like Lexapro and Selexa.

I have not been prescribed fluoxetine here, but by my doctor back home. My family wants to send me the meds and I want to know if I can receive them, since I really do not feel like going through some sort of evaluation that might take months and end with a different diagnosis/prescription to the cost of a few thousand pesos.

It's alright, eventually I'll find out for myself, I come to the forum just in case. As for your problems with the post, I don't know if my anecdote will do you any good, but years ago I made an impulsive purchase through eBay for a US$100 item and had it sent here. I got a notification that I was to pay 500 pesos (US$125 at the time) in Aduana to receive it. I did not have the money, so I went to Aduana and used my charm on the agent: spoke in a soft, slow voice and acted completely oblivious as to why I needed to pay this. The agent's eyes lit up and asked me to wait a bit. I patiently waited two hours without so much as looking at my phone or reading a book, eyeing the agent occasionally like a harmless puppy would until they had me go to the back. Inside, some guy with long hair with a shirt too short to cover his gut pushed the package into my arms and told me to get out. I signed at the exit and literally ran home. I never tried making and international purchase ever again so this has not been repeated, but hey, it worked for me.
