Hi,

Haven’t been in Argentina for nearly 2 years now so alot has changed.

Was wondering what the best way to change money is now. I have just got here and been paying with my masteecard and Amex. I have just realised that the rate on the amex is terrible, 1350 to the pound where as the MC is 1550.

I presume they don’t refund the difference in the official and blue anymore?

Western union seem the best at the moment with 1680 but they charge £12.50 for £500

Or i could buy dollers from my partner and change them up at the blue rate.

Im only here for 4 weeks and not aure what to do?

Western union for cash, everything else with your foreign credit card, prefer the one with travel reward so you can get some points back.
Four weeks is short amount of time, so it should be fine.

You can withdraw dollars and pesos using crypto here easily and safely. Better rate than WU, although I still use them if I'm in a jam.

travel rewards points are redeemed on travel related expenses, not generated by spending while traveling...

Presumably he means a credit card which offers rewards for spending such as accruing miles or points per dollar spent. I can't think of hardly any credit card these days other than balance transfer cards that don't offer some kind of cashback or rewards for their use

Credit card points are indeed generated (earned) by spending, not just spending while traveling but by spending in general
