I see, well I looked back at my account profile on Bitso and I only see that I gave my name, email and Argentine phone number since that was the phone I was using for the app. Maybe this is why it allowed me to proceed to sign up. Their support seems quite responsive as I have already received two replies and now they have told me they are escalating my verification process. I will update the thread when I get a resolution. It sure would be nice to use the app even for small grocery purchases and thus have less need to convert cash. If it fails, I hope I will be able to get my Tether back from them.
