In Patagonia: Oddly, as the blue dollar rate has been declining this week, I've been doing better with changing in Northern Patagonia. Cambio Andina in Villa La Angostura and Bariloche have both paid me 11 pesos per dollar this week, and an hostería here in El Bolsón accepted payment in dollars at 11. Yesterday, a restaurant in Bariloche accepted my dollars at 12! For what it's worth, it's a new downtown Italian restaurant and wine bar called Nebbiolo (Palacios 153, I think), and the food and service are excellent.
