Just when you might have been concerned after Dilma's impeachment about Brazil going super neo liberal and losing the populist thrust of Lula's Worker's Party, you can stop worrying Sao Paulo's new first lady to be Bia Doria married to it's new mayor ex TV star Joao Doria is there to fill that void.
" Me sinto do povo"-- "I feel myself to be of the people" she tells us in an interview in Folha de S.Paulo adding that her assistants were poor, toothless and lived in shacks before working for her.You can read all about it in today's 'The Bubble's Brazil Section.
What a relief and just when I thought Brazil was beating that old bad Washington Consensus drum again.
