Hello everyone,

I'm British-Argentinian, currently living in London, and exploring the possibility of retiring in Buenos Aires in the next couple of years.

I'd particularly like to connect with British retirees who have already made the move to Argentina, especially those who previously lived and worked in the UK.

I'm interested in hearing about your experiences, what you enjoy about living here, any challenges you've encountered, and how you've found the transition to retirement in Argentina.

I'll be spending some time in Buenos Aires shortly and would be delighted to meet for a coffee or simply exchange experiences and advice.

It would also be great to discover whether there is an established community of British retirees who meet socially.

If you're in a similar situation, or know someone who is, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

Many thanks!

Hello. I'm a Brit who shuttles back and forth to here and elsewhere from the UK and may or may.not be here in Argentina when you come.

For information there's really nothing to beat this site; just use the search box to find what you want.

There are other sites which you probably found while finding this one. The one which is an anagram of this one (I'm not going to name them and give them clicks) is an AI rip-off of this site with plagiarised messages and another, countrywide site is much smaller but is mostly retired Brits. Ironically, because most of them have lived in Argentina for decades, few of them have any sort of clue about how to move here now. Still they are Brits, if that is what you want.

IMO this site is best for info and there is a multinational, English speaking meet up every Tuesday advertised on this site. Look for the subject heading "Coffee Chat" and the date.
