There have been some discussions about bringing electronics into BsAs.
Yesterday I brought 2 laptops and a video screen (new and in its box).
I had no problem getting through EZE.
But I was asked if I'm American (yes).
Otherwise no problem.

I brought a lot of stuff back from colombia and i had the same thing, i was ask by the scanner guy where i was from and when i said NZ he just waved me on, but everyone else with things like TV's etc they were giving them to 100 questions..

Customs in EZE runs about like the country; some days it works and other days it does not. They are mainly looking for quantity and/or with boxes that would indicate resale activity. Just use common sense.

I've brought computers, flat-screen tvs, and such in boxes but always with a reciept that indicates more than 6 mos old. Smaller electronics I usually take out of the boxes. Typically flash my US passport and they wave me through. More than once they never even bothered to look at the screen. Never said anything. I had to force myself to just grab my stuff and keep walking and not look guilty.
