Hello!

Sending some fragile things out to the US and would like to ask if anyone knows where I can buy bubble wrap in the Palermo area (or anywhere close to..). I tried the "librerias"... no luck and they are not very helpful as to where I might find some.
Please help!!!!

Thanks

Awww thank you soooo much! Will try that this afternoon.
I guess I'd never thought that a ferreteria would have bubble wrap!!!
Big THANK YOU!!

Tried Easy this past weekend and nada. (But maybe they were just out of stock.) But then on a hunch tried a local Liberia and bingo! Only one choice - sort of wide, but I think less than a meter, and any length you want. $20 (pesos) per meter. And the clerk spoke very good English. On Pacheco de Melo between Bustamante and Billinghurst. (Just to be clear, I am talking about bubble wrap.)

You need a PAPELERA rather than libreria -- these are places that stock all sorts of cardboard, take out meal boxes, boxes for packing, anything to do with wrapping things up. Google and see if you can find one near you. (the "Papelera Palermo" is not the type you want -- it is expensive japanese papers etc -- you want one that is papelera y embalaje -- like thiis: http://www.papeleragarana.com.ar/

Papelera Palermo went out of business in November.
