budget affordable hostel around abasto/recoleta/almagro???

any ideas? some friends coming round for visit/travel
does anybody know of any good affordable hostels around the barrios abasto,
recoleta or
almagro??
is it possible to find for around US$10 per night ??

I stayed at the 'Lion D'or Hotel' in Recoletta for 3 days. It cost $30 USD a night for a single bed, no tv, no air conditioner but a ceiling fan and a shared bathroom. I was very happy with how clean the hotel is. The furnature in the room are antiques and the linens smelled good. The location is perfect too, it's just 2 blocks to the cemetery / movie theater / shopping.

They do have other rooms with tvs, and private bathroom for a little more money.

If any of my friends come into town and I can't accomodate them and they are on a budget I will recommend this hotel to them.

Ask for a room off the street as it is a bus route (otherwise, you can't beat the location)!
