Buenos Aires Plastic Surgery capital of the World

I have been reading on the internet that Buenos Aires has one of the highest plastic surgery rates in the world and is number one for facelifts in the world. I wonder what the members think of this as its a subject that is glaringly obvious to us who live here fulltime.

Wearing the post op badges after plastic surgery is a badge of honour for the rich socialites of Recoleta. The famous La Biela comes to mind.
