In any case, is there a place on the net to learn about foreign registered vehicle opportunities? I recall seeing one post on this site, a while back.

Sometimes on this site something pops up. You can also try horizons unlimited website. Buying a foreign registered vehicle requires a lot of patience and persistence.

You might also try buying a Chile registered vehicle in Chile. It can be done there much easier than in Argentina. And you can actually take the vehicle out of Chile at most border crossings.

Ok so what about buying a used car here. i am still on a tourist visa, heading to uruguay every 6 months. but am looking at buying one real soon.
