Caribbean food

Oye Chico is a cuban restaurant in Flores, and there are some informal dominican restaurants around Constitución. Not much popularity in Buenos Aires when it comes to caribbean food.

The Oye Chico I knew and loved is Cuban food at Montevideo 310 near Corrientes. They also have great live music and dancing. Get a pint-sized mojito. I still get the e-mails. Los Recuerdos is the best Colombian restaurant in town, at Uruguay 943. (Skip the overpriced place in Palermo; it was empty and disappointing when I went whereas this place is always packed with Colombians.) They have a few costeño dishes, fish soups and the like, that may be in line with what you are looking for. Fair prices (as of two months ago).
