Charity Dinners In Ba

I am looking to attend charity dinners/events once or twice a month.

Idea is to help the good cause as well as meet like minded matured aged people.

Any suggestions?

The only charity events I know of are run by the Anglo-Argentine community for organaizations like BABS.

Unicef is hosting a charity dinner.

$5,000 for the UNICEF dinner. Can you really trust that this money will go to UNICEF or into the pockets of a few promoters? Sorry if I am cynical.....

Neither myself, Unicef or any other charity or NGO can do anything about your cynicism and/or negative view of life. They'll all probably prefer to keep such bad vibes away from them anyway.

Guess you could ask to be sent Unicef's annual statements and audit their accounts.

It's not a negative view of life. After many years in Argentina I have seem how business is done. I can't begin to tell you all the examples of corruption I have personally seen and all that have been related to me by Argentine friends - and they include high level organizations I can assure you. You'll recall that Dr Favaloro encountered this at his clinic.
