Christmas Dinner In Ba

Personally, I dislike Christmas Eve dinners in Buenos Aires. Many places have a fixed menu because the food is prepared ahead of time, or is catered (or both). Inordinately expensive and usually crappy (I've never had a good meal on Christmas Eve). As mentioned, taxis don't run, remises are out and I don't remember buses running either, but I'm not one to pay much attention to those except when they're trying to run me off the road

I don't think anyone is going to get a reservation to a decent place starting today, either...

Much prefer a family or friends setting at someone's place, personally.

All big supermarkets are closed today.I think some Chinese supermarkets might open late afternoon.Some barrio chino stores might be open but that is guess.
