Can someone explain why they have seventeen types of whisky, ten types of sweet vermouth and an unlimited variations on dulce de leche but no tequila in supermarkets? This city is great, but sometimes I go nuts.
I was out to dinner with clients the other day and they wanted tequila. 3 shots (can't remember the brand but equivalent to Patron) - 150 PESOS. 3 shots.
My jaw hit the floor.
Mona in Las Canitas makes the best cocktails in the city I think. The bartender is fantastic. But they're 25 pesos a drink.
i support that idea! i'm sure a lot of people have their own special mixes/favorite drinks...we could even set up a kind of drinking club! try out different recipes, drinks from around the world, etc...might be a fun way to meet some new people and get buzzed international-style! any takers?
