Well I tried to make it but in the end I didn’t. The C subway line wasn’t running. I took a bus to the obelisko thinking I could catch the D subway line there. I went into the subway and waited for a while, then subway workers announced that there was no subway.
All subway lines were suspended. Later I found out that a lady cop had been shot and
killed with her own gun in Retiro. All the buses were jammed packed,…somehow I made it home. But only to be greeted by a power outage. So I’m now writing this from the 3 star Constitucion Palace Hotel. It was one of those days.
