The chair situation is getting ridiculous. At one point we were just standing around. Maybe we could start using the vacant chairs that are inside.

I agree that there is a shortage of wooden chairs due to the fact that quite a number of them are in disrepair. Your suggestion would be a solution except for the fact that our group occupies 1 of the 2 large tables located in the outdoor public area.
Starbucks is not about to give up any chairs from inside their locale even if they are not being utilized by their indoor patrons. The management has been tolerant in allowing us the use of their extra black wrought iron chairs which are exclusively for use by their patrons who want to sit in their outdoor area.
A feasible alternative could be to move backwards the starting time of the meeting to 4:00pm during the summer months. This would give us the opportunity to secure 8-10 chairs before peak hours. Any other suggestions are kindly welcomed.
